The First OFFICIAL Blog Post

That first blog post about the Walkers going to the Aquarium was written by Eric.  I told him I wanted to start a blog so he took the computer reigns and set it up for me, and while doing that, wanted to test how a post would look - and voila - our first non-official post.  But don't worry, here I am, the official blog post writer, a.k.a Erin, writing our first official blog post, I hope you enjoy it!

I wanted to start a blog for two reasons.  One, to record all the going ons of our family, and two, to share our family life with, well, our family.  Facebook is good for sharing little things, but I feel like a blog will be able to let me share a little more, like the photo of Dad trying to feed Elmo a glass of red wine at Owen's 2nd Birthday party - and trust me, you will see this in a future post!  Basically this blog is powered by the fact that our family isn't so "close" anymore and I'm trying to be more comfortable with that.  I hope you all appreciate this blog, and I hope you come back to it often.  I also hope you leave your comments as well - that way it will make me feel like you're only a town away instead of thousands of miles...
